North Carolina Craven County }
In the name of God amen. William Heath Jnr. of the County aforesaid.
 I being sick and weak in body but in perfect mind and memory thanks be to god for the Same. First of all I give my Soul into the hands of almighty god that gave it and my body to be buried at the Discretion of my Execrs and as for my Worldly goods which it hath been please god to bless me with I give in manner and form following:
 I also appoint my beloved wife, Elizabeth Heath, my whole and sold Executors of this my Last will and Testament.
 Item I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth Heath the plantation I now Live on during her Life or widowhood and at her death or marriage my Son Jeremiah Heath to take possession as his Wright and property for Ever. I also give my beloved wife one negro wench named Fillis During her life or marriage and at her Death or marriage To bestow her on which Girl Child she sees Fit begotten of my body.
 I likewise give my beloved wife all my Household goods and Chattles and Horses Cattle and hogs and Sheep.
 I likewise Desire as my sons comes of age they may have Each of them a horse or mare if to be spared.
 Item I give to my son William Heath at the age of 21 that plantation Lying on the Mill Swamp with all the Land belonging there to.
 Item I give to my son Christopher Heath one Negro boy named Dick.
 Item I give to my son Rigdon Heath one negro boy named Gim.
 Item I give to my Daughter Cassia Heath one Negro Girl named Nann and if the said wench should have any more the next to Lize and the next to Zilphe and if the said wench should have anymore Children then the same to be Equally Divided among my Children.
 In witness whereof I have Hereunto Set my hand this the 6th day of Febry. 1780.
