No. 83 18 March 1879 This day Issued to Wm. K Simpson To Marry Mollie Reaves Marriage License Bond. Know all Men by these Presents: That we, Wm. K. Simpson and A. H. Rose all of the County of Hardeman, and State of Tennessee, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Tennessee, in the sum of Twelve Hundred and Fifty Dollars, which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, and each and every one of us and them, jointly and severally, by these presents. The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That whereas, the above named Wm. K. Simpson has this day prayed and obtained License to marry Mollie Reaves. NOW, if the said Mollie Reaves be an actualy resident of this County, and there shall not appear any lawful cause why they shall not be joined in matrimony, as husband and wife, this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. Simpson MARRIAGE LICENSE Mollie Reaves Dated 18 March 1879 MARRIAGE LICENSE. County of Hardeman, State of Tennessee. To any one Legally Authorized to Solemnize Matrimony: These are to Authorize you to solemnize the Rite of Matrimony between Wm. K. Simpson and Mollie Reaves, of your County, agreeable to an Act of Assembly, in such cases made and provided. Provided, always, that the said Mollie Reaves be an actual resident of this County; otherwise this shall be null and void, and shall not be accounted any License or authority for you, or either of you, for the purpose aforesaid, more than the same had never been prayed or granted.
