No. 631. Deed of Conveyance. Clift & McRee To Benjamin Wallace.

This Indenture made and entered into this 21st day of February 1852 between William Clift & Robert C. McRee of the one part and Benjamin Wallace of hte other part all of the County of Hamilton and State of Tennessee

witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of ninety seven Dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said William Clift and Robert C. McRee hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain sell and convey to the said Benjamin Wallace a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in this our County of Hamilton and in the 12th Civil district of said county and adjoining the lands of the said Wallace Wm. McGill and R. C. McRee and is bounded as follows to wit

Beginning on a black oake McRees corner and running west 40 poles to a post oak on the west side of the vally road S 50 W 20 poles to a stake S 55 W 32 poles to a stake S 12 W 6 poles to a post oak and black oak S 40 W 52 poles to a stake in Varnells line N 72 W 14 poles to a doble Chesnut N 78 W 52 poles to a pine N 10 E 50 poles to a post oak at the wolf pitt N 38 E 70 poles to two black oaks N 8 W 100 poles to a stake McGill line S 85 E with McGills line 20 poles to a stake Wallaces corner S 5 W 80 poles with Wallaces line to a stake S 39 1/2 E with Wallaces line 123 to the beginning to contain ninety seven acres be the same more or less

to have and to hold to the said Benjamin Wallace his heirs and representatives for ever against the lawful claims of the said Wm. Clift and Robert C. McRee their heirs and representatives and all persons whatsoever in Testamoney whereof we have hereunto set our hands and fixed our seals the day and date above set.

State of Tennessee Hamilton County } Personally appeared before me James Clift Clerk of the county court of said county William Clift and Robert C. McRee the foregoing bargainers with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged the due execution of the forgoing Deed on the day it bears date and for the purposes herein named Witness my hand at office in Harrison this the 27th February 1852.    James Clift Clk.

State of Tennessee Hamilton County } Registers office the 21st day of March 1852 at 10 oclock AM Then was the foregoing Deed and certificate received for registration and is now of record in my office in Book H page 622 Witness my hand at office in Harrison the day and date last above written.    A. No. 632. Deed of conveyance. Wm. Clift To Benjamin Wallace. 10 acres

This Indenture made and entered into this 20th of February 1852 between William Clift of the one part and Benjamin Wallace of the other part all of the County of Hamilton and State of Tennessee

Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of ten Dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said Clift hath bargained and sold, and doth bargain sell and convey to the said Wallace the following discribed tract of parcel of land lying and being in this our county of Hamilton and in the twelvth Civil District of said County and adjoining the lands of the said Clift and Wallace and R. C. McRee and is bounded as follows to wit

beginning on a poplar south East corner to Wallace old survey then S 26 W 48 poles to a stake and pointers in a line between Clift & McRee N 79 W with said line 40 poles to a post oak N 8 E 35 poles to a post oak Wallace corner then N 70 E with Wallace line to the Beginning to contain ten acres be the same more or less with the appurtenances thereunto

to have and to hold to the said Wallace his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims of the said Clift his heirs and representatives and all persons whatsoever. In testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal the day and date above set.
