G. W. Strickland To A. M. Lambeth } Deed 21 A Registered December 18th 1867 State of Tennessee Hardeman County. This Indenture made and entered into this 16th day of December 1867 between G W Strickland of the first of the County of Hardeman and State of Tennessee and A M Lambeth Sen. of the Second part of the County of Hardeman and State of Tennessee. Witnesseth, that the part of the first part the Said G. W. Strickland for and Consideration of One Thousand Dollars, paid by the part of the Second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath given granted, bargained, Sold and conveyed, and by these presents do give, grant, bargain, Sell, Convey & confirm unto the party of the Second part, his heirs in fee Simple forever, a certain parcel of tract of land, Situate lying and being in the County of Hardeman & State of Tennessee. Known and described as follows, One parcel or tract of land in or near the Town of Middleton South of the Memphis & Charleston Rail Road, in the County of Hardeman and State of Tennessee, Begining At A Stake the North West Corner of James Rose One quarter (1/4) Acre lot and runs with the line of Said Lot South One Hundred & four feet, thence East one hundred & four feet to a Stake, Thence South about ten Degrees West fifty five poles, three feet And Six inches to a Stake the Corner of James Lillards land, thence West forty three poles to a Stake, J R Jones South East Corner Thence North With Said J R Jones East boundary line Sixty Six poles and Six feet to a Stake in the right of way line of the Memphis & Charleston Rail Road, Thence East with the right of way line of the Memphis And Charleston Rail Road, fifty six poles to the begining Containing twenty one (21) acres more or less, To have and to hold ...
