N. K. Simpson To Wm. H. Childress Registered March 14th 1859. Know all men by Presents that I N. K. Simpson have this day bargained and Sold and do hereby transfer and convey to Wm. H. Childress and his heirs forever for the consideration of Seven hundred dollars to me paid a tract of land in the state of Tennessee Hardeman County and District No. twelve Contains by Estimation two Hundred acres be the Same more or less and Bounded as follows Beginning on a Stake 128 Poles East and 16 Poles North of the South West Corner of said Section with a Dogwood and White Oak Pointers and Runs East 128 Poles to a Scaly bark hickory with 2 holly and hornbeam Pointers Thence North 250 poles to a Burch and five Birch pointers Thence West 128 poles to dogwood and 3 White oak pointers Thence South 250 poles to the Beginning.
