William Simpson To Nancy Crawford } Deed 90 Acres  This Indenture Made this 1st day of September in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Six Between William Simpson of the County of Hardeman and State of Tennessee of the one part and Nancy Crawford of the County of Hardeman and State of Tennessee of the other part Witnesseth that the Said William Simpson for and in consideration of the Sum of Ninety Dollars and 00 cents to him in hand paid by the said Nancy Crawford the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hat given ... a certain tract of Land Situated in the County of Hardeman and State of Tennessee in Range One and Section two of the Ninth Surveyors District Beginning at a hickory with Spanish oak Black Oak and hickory pointers 42 poles East of the North East Corner of Entry No 502 for 200 acres made in the name of John Kennedy Running thence North 120 poles to a Beech and Holly. Thence West 120 poles to a Hickory with a red oak and two white oak pts. Thence South 120 poles to a Black Oak with 3 White Oak pointers. Thence East 120 poles to the Beginning also One Sorrel Mare and Colt one year old. The Above Described tract of Land Containing Ninety acres more or less To Have and To Hold ...
