Recorded 12th Apl. AD 1842 Colbert Littirall To A M Lambeth Sept 10th 1840. Then received of Alfred M Lambeth eight hundred and seventy six Dollars which is in full payment for a certain negro boy Slave for life by the name of Richard the payment of which sum is hereby acknowledged by me Colbert Littirall Admr. of Nathan Littirall Decd. The title to said boy Richard I do hereby warrant and forever defend against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons to the said Alfred M Lambeth his heirs and assigns forever and I the said Colbert Littirall Admr. &c do also warrant the said boy to be sound both in body and mind.          colbert Litterall 9seal) Signed Sealed and delivered in the presents of us J.
