This Indenture made this 21st day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twenty six between Micajah Bullock of the county of Granville and state of North Carolina of the one part, and William Walker of the county and state aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth that he the said Micajah Bullock for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred & eighteen and fifty cents to him in hand paid by the said William Walker at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge hath bargained sold and do by these presents bargain and sell and deliver unto the said William Walker and to his hears and assigns forever a tract or parcel of land lying on the waters of Cedar Creek in the county afforsaid containing two hundred and seventy nine acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows viz begining at a sweet gum on the west side of Cedar Creek from thence runing Cameron's line west 344 pole to a Post oak thence north 50 degrees East 148 pole to a black Jack Jarrot Walkers corner interlined before assigned thence North 63 1/2 degrees East 214 po. to a hickory, thence north 26 degrees west 84 pole to a lightwood stake thence East 160 pole to a maple on Cedar Creek thence down the creek as it meanders to the begining To have and to hold ... In witness whereof I the said Micajah Bullock have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this day and date above written.
