State of N Carolina Granville County } This Indenture made this 16th day of August AD one thousand Eight Hundred & fourteen Between Micajah Bullock of the one part & James Bullock Jnr. of the other part each of the county & State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said Micajah Bullock for and in Consideration of the sum of sixty seven & a Half dollars to him in Hand paid by the said James Bullock Jnr. at or before the Sealing and delivery of the presents the Receipt whereof the said Micajah Bullock doth Hereby acknowledge Hath granted bargained sold aliened released made over conveyed and confirmed unto the said James Bullock His Heirs & assigns one certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the state & county aforesaid begining at a post oak in John Hesters line runing thence by William Joneses line west one Hundred & Eleven poles to a pine in Forsyths line then by his line south forty degrees east one Hundred & seventy six pole to a pine in the said Hesters line then by this line North to the begining containing by estimation forty five acres more or less to have & to hold ... in Witness whereof Have Hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date before written.            Micajah Bullock (Seal)  Witness Thomas Webb Leonard Bullock State of N Carolina Granville County } May Court A.D. 1815  The Execution of the foregoing deed was duly proved in open court by the oath of Thos.
