 To all to whom these presents shall Come Greeting.
Know Ye that we for & in consideration of the Sum of Fifty Shillings for every Hundred acres hereby Granted paid into our Treasury by Micajah Bullock have Given & granted & by these presents do give & grant unto the sd. Micajah Bullock a tract of Land Containing One Hundred & Fifty Acres lying & being in Our County of Granville On the Waters of Cedar & Robertsons Creek

Begining at a black oak Smiths Corner in Townsands line Runing thence by his line North Fifty three & a half Degrees East Ninety Six poles to a black Oak Hewits Corner thence by his line South twelve degrees east Eighty poles to an Ash thence his line East forty poles to a Oak his Holts Corner thence his line South two Hundred & Sixty poles to an Oak thence by Smiths line west twenty poles to An Oak thence his line North one Hundred poles to an Oak thence his line South Eighty degrees west Seventy poles to a stake Smiths Corner thence his line North twelve degrees west to the Begining

As by the plat hereunto annexed doth appear together with all Woods Waters Mines Minerals Hereditaments & appurtenances to the sd. land belonging or appertaining. To hold to thesd. Micajah Bullock his heirs & assigns forever. Yielding & paying to us Such Sum of Money Yearly or otherwise as our General Assembly from time to time may direct. Provided always that the said Micajah Bullock Shall Cause this Grant to be Registered in the Registers office of the Said County of Granville Within Twelve Months from the date hereof otherwise the said shall be Void & of no Effect. In Testimony whereof we have caused Our great seal to be hereunto affixed. Witness Richard Carwell esquire our Governor Captain General and Commander in Chief at Kingston the first day of March in the fourth year of Our Independence & in the Year of Our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred & Eighty.
