McCright "Deed" The State of Texas County of Bowie } Know all men by these Presents that I T J Hobgood of the County of Bowie, and State of Texas in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred sixty six & 66 2/3/100 Dollars, paid and Secured to be paid Mrs. S. F. McCright One Hundred twenty two and 22 1/3 dollars cash in hand paid, and Two hundred forty four & 44/100 dollars due and payable on the first day of January 1892 as evidenced by my certain promisory note of even date herewith bearing a Vendors lein on the property herein described & bearing interest from date at the rate of 10% pr. anum. Recipt of said money & note being hereby acknowledged. Have granted, sold, and conveyed, and by these presents, do grant sell and convey unto the said Mrs. S. F. McCright of the County of Bowie, and State of Texas, all that certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of Bowie of Bowie and State of Texas about 2 1/2 miles north from Texarkana, a Part of H. R. survey of Willis Oldham and described as follows, beginning at a Stake on the S. B. line of the Willis Oldham H R survey 210 vrs. west from the S.E. corner of the same Thence north 295 1/2 vrs. Thence west 210 vrs. Thence South 295 1/2 vrs. to the S. B. line of said Oldham SW HR Thence East 210 vrs. to the begining containing 11 acres more or less. To have and to hold ... But it is Expressly agreed and Stipulated that the Vendors lein is Retained against the above described property, premises and improvements until the above described notes and all interest thereon are fully paid according to its face and tenor, effect and Reading when this deed Shall become absolute.  Witness my hand at Texarkana this 22nd day of July AD 1890.    T.
