In the name of God, amen.  I, John Dalby of the County of Granville and State of North Carolina Being of Sound mind and memory, but weak in Body do ordain this my last will and Testament revoking all others by me heretofore made.
Item I give unto my son John Anderson Dalby one Dollar
Item I give unto Milley H Flemming Sally Bullock Barbary Pillar and Permelia Bullock all my Estate they have in thare possession
Item I give to my son Knightinggale Dalby one Dollar
Item I give to my son Micajah B Dalby all my Land lying East of the Jeffrisis Track and south of Harris Ogalvies old line allso a negro boy he has in his possession
Item I give unto my son Dick H Dalby all my Land I purchased of Harris Ogalvie also a negro boy in his possession
Item I give unto my grand son John D Bullock one negro man name Hal
Item my will and desire is that all the rest of my Estate at my death Sall be sold and Equally Divided Between Milly H Flemming Sally Bullock Knightinggale Dalby Barbary Pillar Permelia Bullock Micajah B Dalby and Dick H. Dalby  I do hereby constitute and appoint E Bullock and Dick H Dalby as my Executors To Execute this my last will Testament

Granville County

The execution of the foregoing last Will and Testament of John Dalby Decd was duly proven on oath in open Court by Micajah Bullock & Richard Bullock the subscribing witnesses thereto and on motion it was ordered to be recorded. At the same time came forward Dick H Dalby recorded as one of the Executors in said Will and duly qualified as such.
