To all &c. Whereas &c. now Know ye that I the said Samuel Mathews Esqr. &c. give and grant unto Ralph Green one thousand one hundred acres of Land Situate lying and being in the County of Gloucester upon the north side of york river bounding South South West upon york River from Jones's Creek to a creek dividing this Land & the Land of Col. Richard Lee East Southeast upon the said Creek which divides from Lee, west north west upon Jones's Creek and upon the land of William Thome. This said Land being a neck of Land and formerly granted to the said Ralph Green by patent for 400 acres bearing date the 16th of February 1653. And now made eleven hundred by adding seven hundred acres of Waste Land adjacent and runing North westerly into the Woods and including all the marshes as well as Wood Lands within the said Bounds from Creek to Creek & from york River to the Said William Thome's Land. The said Land being due unto the said Ralph Green as followeth viz: 400 acres part thereof by virtue of the said patent bearing date the 16th day of February 1653. & the residue being seven hundred acres by and for the Transportation of Fourteen persons into this Colony &c. To Have & To Hold &c. yielding & paying &c. which Payment &c. provided &c. Dated the last day of August 1658.

... to the Said William Thome's Land. The said Land being formerly granted the said Green by Patent dated the last of August 1658 and now renewed in his Majesties name &c. To Have and To Hold &c. To be Held &c. Yielding and paying &c. provided &c. Dated the 10th of February 1662.
