KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT WE, Wm. Clift & Wm. Walker are held and firmly bound unto Wm. Carroll Esq. Governor of the State of Tennessee and his successors in Office in the sum of Twelve Hundred and Fifty Dollars, to be void on condition there be no lawful cause to prevent a marriage from being solemnized in the County of Knox between Wm.
