The State of Texas County of Titus } Know all men by these presents that I John Pounders of the County and State above mentioned for and in Consideration of the Sum of three hundred Dollars to me in hand paid by James T. Stidham of Said State and County the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained Sold and delivered and do by these presents grant bargain Sell and deliver unto the Said Jame T. Stidman all that tract or parcel of land discribed as follows to win. Fifty Acres of land Situated in the County of Titus and State aforesaid on the Waters of Kelly Creek about 6 or 7 miles NE from the Town of Daingerfield and about Nineteen miles SE from the Town of Mt. Pleasant being a part of a Survey of the head right of Jacob Stillins it being a grant of three hundred and forty Acre Survey Known as the Elija Cox Survey Commencing at a Stake at the South East Corner of Said tract of land from which a Hickory bears N 82 West 5 Vars and then Hickroy bears N 50 W 4 1/2 Vars both marked X. Thence West 684 Vars to a Black Jack on the Boundary line of Said Survey. Thence N 413 Varas to a Stake. Thence East 684 Vars to a Stake on East boundary line of Said Survey Thence S 418 Varas to the Begining also a Certain tract or parcel of land Containing Twenty Acres of land more or less Situated in the State and County above mentioned lying on Kelly Creek in that portion of the County of the above mentioned tract of the Same head right being a part of a Three hundred and Twenty Acre Survey of land Commencing at the NW Corner of a tract of land heretofore Sold by Eliza Cox to John Cox. of Fifty Acres Thence North 345 Vars a Stake bears East 684 Vars to the East boundary line of Said Cox Survey Thence S With Said East boundary line 345 Vars to the NE Corner of Said Fifty Acre Thence West 684 Vars to the Begining Togeth with all the rights appurtenances members and hereditaments the Same belonging or any incedent or appertaining To have and to hold all the Singular the premises as before mentioned unto the Said James T. Stidman his heirs and assigns forever and I John Pounders do hereby bind my Self my heirs Executors and Administrators to Warrant and defend all and Singular the Said both premises unto the Said James T.
