James Stidham To John Stidham } Deed: State of Georgia Warren County }
 Know all men by these presents that I James Stidham of the County and State aforesaid. in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid by John Stidham of Edgefield District & State of South Carolina, have granted, bargained, sold, and released, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and release unto the said John Stidham,

all my interest title & Estate, in, and to, a certain undivided Tract of Land, on which my mother Nancy Stidham now resides, originally granted to Peter Keibler the twentieth day of August Anno Domini Seventeen Hundred and Sixty five, for Two Hundred acres. Situate in Edgefield District, South Carolina, on Big Turkey Creek, waters of Stevens Creek, and Savannah River, and at this time bound westwardly on James Blockers, South & South East on said Blocker & Sherod Kennerly & N.ardly by Turkey Creek.

Together with all and singular the rights, members, hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any wise incident or appertaining, to have and to hold, all and singular my said Interest, in the aforesaid undivided Two Hundred acres of land unto the said John Stidham his heirs, and assigns forever, and I do hereby bind myself my heirs, Executors, administrators and assigns to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said John Stidham his heirs and assigns against myself and against every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. Witness my hand and seal this the 30th day of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand Eight Hundred and twenty nine, and the Fifty third of the Sovereignty & Independence of the United States of America.

Georgia Warren County } Frances Stidham wife of the within named James Stidham this day appeared before me, and being privately and separately examined and apart from her husband examined by me did declare, acknowledge, and agree that she did of her own free will and accord, subscribe seal, and deliver the within Deed with an intention to renounce, give up, and forever quit claim, to her right of Dower, and thirds of Interest, and to all and singular the premises in said Deed mentioned. In witness whereof the Said Frances Stidham hath hereunto Set her hand and seal this 30th day of November 1829.

Georgia Warren County } Personally came before me Jethro Darden, who being duly sworn deposeth and saith that from the knowledge he has of the hand writing of Moses Darden and Edwin Baker the witnesses to the within deed of conveyance signed by James Stidham to John Stidham: are their hand writing to the best of his knowledge and belief.
