William McCreight }
In the Name of God Amen. I William McCreight of Jackson Creek parish of St. Mark Craven County being weak of body but of sound Memory blessed be God do this tenth day of november in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Six make and publish this my last will and Testament in the manner following

First I Give to my Son Robert McCreight Fifty acres of my plantation, and the young Colt meager, & my Sadle Bridle & whip and Cow Strawbery and my blue Coat and white Jacket

Also I Give to my son Jno. McCreight Fifty acres of my plantation & the roent mare excepting the first Colt and the Cow Beauty & as much Leather as will make a Sadle out of the two Hides which is now, & my great Coat & reid Jacket and shoe Bockels,

Also I give to my son david McCreight one Hundred acres of Land of my plantation and the Cow Cherry

Also I Give to my youngest son William McCreight Fifty acres of my plantation and the Cow Blackleidy

Also I give to my daughter Agnes McCreight Fifty acres of my plantation or the worth of the same which ever the Executors thinks most proper and fit to be done and she gets the First Colt of the roent mare & the Calf dortey,

also I give to my daughter Mary McCreight Fifty acres of my plantation or the worth of the same which ever the Executors thinks most proper & fit to be done, and she gets the Heifer Calf filpen

I also Give my dear wife Agnes McCreight fifty acres of my plantation and the Grey Horse her Sadle Bridle and whip and the cow Hetley, and the Bed that we slept on and I leave all my debts that I owe whatsoever to be paid by thee my said wife

and I make my Loven Neighbours & Freinds John Smith of Rockey Creek and David McCreight Junior of Jacksons Creek & parish and County aforesaid Executors of this my will to take Care and see the same performed according to my true Intent & meaning. In Witness whereof I the said William McCreight have to this my last will and Testament Set my hand and Seal this day and year above written.

Signed Sealed & delivered by the said Wm. McCreight as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who we perent at the signing & sealing off.

The above will was proved in open Court by James McCreight on the 20th day of January in the year of our Lors 1792 and approved & allowed of by the Judges & Letters of Amta and Testamentary ordered to be granted to Executors therein named & David McCreight was Sworn in to Daly Administer.  D.
