Thomas Shipp To Richard Shipp
 Recorded this 25th July 1804

Georgia Colubmia County } This Indenture this twenty third day of december in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and in the twenty fifth year of the Independance of America, Between Thomas Shipp and Jedediah his wife of the State and county aforesaid and Richard Shipp of the County and State as above of the other part.

Witnesseth that the said Thomas Shipp and Jedediah his wife for the consideration which is mentioned on the back hereof Have Bargained sold and by these presents doth bargain sell allien and confirm unto the said Richard Shipp his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land insaid county containing by estimation seventy acres be the same more or less, it being a part of a survey bought by the said Thomas Shipp of John Robertson and bounded as followeth (To wit)

Begining at pine on Farrars line Runing south sixty degrees east sixteen chains to a Stump in the old field, thence a new line North thirty degrees east forty four chains to hickory corner on the old line, thence following old lines to the begining.

Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the remainder and remainders Rents Isues and profits thereof or any part thereof.  To have and to hold the said tract or land and premisses, To the only use benefit and behoof of him the said Richard Shipp his heirs and assigns for ever (if the conditions on the back hereof is complyd with by the said Richard Shipp, and if not, Then and in that case the above deed to be void) and the said Thomas Shipp and Jedidah his wife to the said tract of land and premisses, do and will Warrant and for ever defend against themselves and their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever claiming under them or either of them in any case,

In Witness Whereof the said Thomas Shipp and Jedidah his wife hath hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and date first within written.

Now the conditions of these presents is such that whereas the said Thomas Shipp was possessed of a certain tract of land in South Carolina containing seventy acres and for the natural love and affection he had to his son the within mentioned Richard Shipp made a deed in writing commonly called a deed of gift, and since that the said Thomas Shipp sold the same seventy acres of land to John Cox, Now if the said Richard Shipp Do make or cause to be made a lawfull Right to the said Seventy acres of land to the said John Cox whenever he the said Richard Shipp comes to the age of twenty one years if demanded, then in that case this deed conveyance to the said Richard Shipp to be a fee simple Right, if not complied with to be void.
