In the name of God Amen.
I Isaac Anderson of Augusta County am Sick of body Yet in my perfect sense thanks be to God that gave it, I bequeath my soul to God and my body to ye dust from whence it came, this my last Will and Testament.

Item I order that I should be buried where my son John is buried and that I should be buried in a good and decent order.

Item I order all my Debts should be paid.

Item I leave and bequeath to my well beloved wife Martha this dwelling house and afixed houses and all the plenishing that is in it excepting one beding of Clouths and what is her daughter Elizabeths.

Item I order that my well beloved wife and my son Isaac should have a hundred and fifty acres of Land if in case that my wife and my son Isaac doth not agree I order that she should have her house and all the improvements and three cows and the sorepp Horse and the roan Horse and bread that is sufficient for to Maintain her and all that on free cost while she lives.

Item I Leave and bequeath to my son James one hundred acres of Land and all that he now does possess.

I leave and bequeath to my son Jacob one hundred acres of Land and those three hundred and fifty acres of Land is to be equally divided allowing quantity & quality and with the other according as it is judged.

I leave and bequeath to my son Isaac two cows that is with Calf a Colt and a little bay Mare.

Item I leave and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth two Milck Cows her horse and Sadle and his furniture.

I leave and bequeath to my daughter Mary one heiffer.

I order my well beloved wife and Hugh Martin to be whole Executors and no other, this is my last Will and Testament.  There is two steers that I order to pay for one Milck Cow that I and in due for, and the bay filly I order that she may stand to pay for her self given under my hand and seal this ninth day of february in the year of our Lord God One thousand seven hundred and forty seven Eight 1747-8.

At a court held for Augusta County the 17th day of May 1749.
This Last will and testament of Isaac Anderson decd. was proscribed into Court by Martha Anderson one of the Exrs. therein named and being proved by the oaths of Hugh Martin & Jacob Anderson the witnesses thereto is admitted to record and on the motion of Martha Anderson who made oath according to Law certificate is granted her for obtaining a probate thereof in deed form and Hugh Martin ye other Exr. therein named personally appeard in court and declared that he would not joyn in the provate or take on him the burden of ye Execution of the said will.    Test.

Know all Men by these presents that We Martha Anderson Francis McCown and Andrew Hays are held and firmly bound unto James Patton the first Justice in a comission of the pleas for Augusta County for and in behalf and to the sole use and behoof of the Justices of the said County and their purposes a sum of five hundred pounds To be paid to ye sd. James Patton his Executors Admrs. and assigns To ye which payments well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and every of us our and every of our heirs Exrs. and Admrs. joyntly and Severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals dated this xvii the day of May 1749.  The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bound Martha Anderson Executrix of the Last Will and Testament of Isaac Anderson deceased do make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods Chattells and Credits of the said deceased which has or shall come to ye hands possession or knowledge of the said Martha or in the hands and possession of any other person or persons for her and the said be made to exhibit unto the County Court of Augusta at such time as she shall be thereunto required by the said Court and the said Good Chattels and Credits and all other the goods Chattels and Credits of ye sd. Deceased which at any time after shall come to ye hands possession or knowledge of the said Martha Anderson or unto the hands and possession of any person or persons for her do well and truly administer according to Law and further do make a true and full account of her letings and doings therein when thereunto required by ye said Court: And also shall well and truly pay and deliver all the Legaties contained and porifyed in the said Testament as far as the said Goods Chattells and Credits will thereunto entered and the Law shall charge the other obligation to be void and of none effect or else to remain in full force and virtue.

At a court held for Augusta County the 17th day of May 1749.  Martha Anderson Francis McCown and Andres Hays in oopen Court acknowledged this their bond for ye sd. Martha Andersons faith full and true Admin of the Estate of Isaac Anderson decd. which bond is ordered to be recorded.  Test.
