The State of Texas County of Bowie }
Know all Men by these Presents: that we N. L. Dalby, R. F. Dalby, and wife Mrs. R. F. Dalby of the County of Bowie and State of Texas, for and in consideration of Seventy-two and no/100 dollars, to me in hand paid by R. J. Smith the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have Granted, Sold and Conveyed, and do by these presents Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey unto the said R. J. Smith and to his heirs and assigns forever, the following described tract or parcel of land, situated in the County of Bowie and State of Texas, and described as follows:

Beginning 474 varas west of Warren K. Dalby's South East corner on S. Dalby's Southern line or the north-East corner of said tract, at a stake, witness tree Blak Oak, marked (SS), Thence One mile to a stake, corner of Ann Dalby's Headright Survey, witness trees two red-Oaks marked (SS), Thence south one mile to a stake, witness trees, Red-Oak and Hickory, both marked (SS), Thence East one mile to a stake, a corner of F. B. Corner Witness trees four Cuss-Oaks marked (SS): Thence North to the Beginning.

Tract No. 2: four Hundred and Eighty acres, in Bowie County, about 7 ½ Miles N.W. from Supherisau's ferry and 15 miles S 80 W from Boston by Virtue of Conditional Certificate No. 2 issued by the Board of Land Commissioners of Bowie County on the 4th day of May, 1841, upon which unconditional Certificate No. 121 was issued by the Board of the same County on the 8th day of July 1845. Beginning at a stake the SW corner of Ben Booth's Survey from which a Post-Oak bears No. 62 W9 varas, a Red-Oak bears No. 76 W 19 8/10 varas both marked W.D. Thence west at 474 varas the NE corner of Surling Smith's Survey at 1390 varas, Booth's creek at 1434 varas a stake, from which a Hickory bears No. 63 E 4 8/10 varas, a sweet-gum bears N 33 E 15 5/10 varas both marked WD. Thence north at 4 varas Booth's Creek at 1900 varas a stake the S.W. corner of Wm. Ellis survey, from which a hickory bears East 4 5/10 varas, black jack bears S 4 E 6 5/10 varas marked B.B. Thence East at 1424 varas the NW corner of Booths Survey from which a Black Jack bears S 15 E 2 3/10 varas a post Oak bears S 43 E 12 varas marked BB. Thence south with said survey 1900 to the beginning. (This conveyance is intended to convey our undivided interest in and to the above tracts or parcels of land.)
