Margaret Cunningham Deed Marshall W. Cunningham.
This Indenture made the 24th day of April 1844 between Margaret Cunningham widow of McMinn County State of Tennessee of the one part and Marshall W. Cunningham Sen. of said county and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Nine hundred dollars to her in hand paid in addition to her life estate recused to her by a evictive obligation signed and delivered to her by said M. W. Cunningham the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged  the said Margaret Cunningham bargains sells and conveys and by these presents doth bargain sell and convey unto the said M. W. Cunningham his heirs executors and assigns

a certain piece or parcel of land containing one hundred and sixty acres situate and being in the County of McMinn and State of Tennessee and in the Hiwassee District known and distinguished upon the general plan of said district by range first west of the Meridian fourth township section twenty fourth and the north east quarter of said section,

with the hereditaments ... In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal or mark the day and date above written. (the scratched out on page first was made before signed)
