This Indenture made the 1st day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eighteen between Jesse Wallace of the State of Tennessee and County of Blount of the one part and Abraham Wallace of the State and County aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth, that the Said Jesse Wallace for and in consideration of the Sum of one Thousand dollars to him in hand paid at or before the Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt Whereof is hereby acknoledged hath Granted bargained and Sold And by these presents doth Grant bargain and Sell unto the Said Abraham Wallace his heirs

a certain tract or parcel of Land lying and in the County of Blount and State of Tennessee the waters of Crooked Creek containing Eighty acres being part of two hundred and twenty one acres two roods and ten poles Granted by the State of Tennessee to Joel Wallace by Grant number 9 the other part being by the Said Jesse Wallace heretofore conveyed to Abraham Wallace which will more fully appear refference being hand to a deed of conveyance dated the 7th day of September 1811 from the Said Jesse Wallace to the Abraham Wallace and registered in the register's office of Blount County in Book B page 238which is the original tract Bounded as follows to wit: Beginning at a Stake in Benjamin Wallace line running with the Same north forty west one hundred and Six chain & Eight tenths to a Black oak thence with the Land of Henry Thomas North forty nine East thirty Six chain and four tenths to a Stake then with the land of pulaskie Wallace South Sixty nine and three forths East fifty two chains to a Stake then with Said Wallace South Eighty East thirty one chain to a Stake then with Said Wallace North thirty nine East three chains and Seven tenths to a Stake thence with Said Wallace South thirty Seven and three forths East fifty Seven chains to a hickory Saplin thence with vacant Land South twenty three west Twenty three chains to a Birch tree thence with vacant Land South Sixty and three forths west thirty Eight chain to a white oak thence with vacant Land west thirty three chain and Six forth to the Begining
