Jesse Wallace To Abraham Wallace. Page 228 Book "A" This Indenture made the twenty Seventh day of September in the Year one thousand Eight hundred and Eleven between Jessie Wallace of the County of Blount & State of Tennessee of the one part and Abram Wallace of the County & State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Jesse Wallace for and in consideration of the Sum of thirteen hundred dollars to him in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath and by these presents doth Grant Bargain Sell Enfeoff and confirm unto the said Abraham Wallace his heirs & assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and forty two acres one Rood & Eighteen poles lying and Being in the County of Blount on the Waters of Crooked Creek Lying Joining the lands of Benjamin Wallace Henery Thomas & Thomas Wallace Beginning at a White oak on Benjamin Wallace line thence Running with said line North forty West one hundred and Six chains and Eight tenth to a black oak on Henry Thomas line then with lands of said Thomas Wallace North forty nine East Sixteen Chains  & four tenths then with Lands of Thomas Wallace, South Sixty Eight East Eighty three chains twenty Seven links to a Stake then north forty two one half East Eight chains five links to a Shomake then South thirty Seven East twenty Chains & Eight links to fiuse Corner thence South ten & half East twenty four Chains to a popler then South twenty five & half East ten chains Eight links to a Stake then East nineteen chains to a Stake then South twenty nine West nine chains twenty four links to a hickory thence with vacant Land South Sixty & three fourths West thirty Eight chains to a Beach thence with vacant Land west thirty three and six tenths chains to the Beginning with all ... To have and to hold ... in Witness whereof the said Jesse Wallace hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and Year above Written. N. B.
