A Deed of Sale from Joseph & Rebecca McKenzie to Eleanor Moore for 63 Acres of Land acknowledged in open Court and Ordered to be Recorded, and it is Recorded in form following Viz.:
To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting. Know Ye that I Joseph McKenzie & Rebecca his wife of Camden District York County & State of South Carolina for divers good causes and considerations we thereunto moving have remised, released and for ever Quit claimed and by these presents do remise release and for ever quit claim unto Eleanor Moore of the same place All that Messuage or Tenement piece or parcel of Land, Situate in the aforesaid County and State on the Camp branch of Beaver dam a branch of Crowders Creek,

Beginning at a Pine Daniel Murpheys Corner and runs No. 72 Et. 17 to a Pine Bradnor's Land, thence So. 37 Et. 3 Post Oak, thence So. 68 Et. 3 to a Pine thence So. 16 Wt. 28 to a Red Oak thence No. 35 Wt. 50 to a Stake thence So. 73 Wt. 42 to a White Oak Daniel Murpheys Corner, thence with his dividing line No. 43 Et. 20 Hickory Saplin thence No. 21 to the beginning containing by computation Sixty three acres be the same more or less being part of a Tract of Land Granted by Patent unto the said Joseph McKenzie bearing date sixth of November 1786 and divided between Daniel Murphey & the said Eleanor Moore Reference to the Platt will more fully appear.

To have and to hold ... In Witness whereof we the said Joseph McKenzie and Rebecca have hereunto set our Hands and Seals this second day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Eighty seven, and in the Eleventh year of the Independence of the united States of America.
