William Ingrum To Jesse Powell }
This Indenture made this Twenty seventh Day of Septemr. In the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty four, Between William Ingrum in the Province of N. Carolina in Johnston County Planter of the one part, and Jesse Powell of the same County and Province Planter of the other Part, Witnesseth that the said William Ingrum for and in Consideration of the sum of Six pounds Proclamation money, to him in hand paid, by the Jesse Powell the Receipt hereof he doth confess and acknowledge himself satisfied Contented and paid, hath given, granted, Bargained, Sold, and Enfeoffed, Convey Confirm, assign and sell over unto the said Jesse Powell, his Heirs and Assigns for Ever,

a Certain Plantation, parcel or Tract of Land, Containing Fifty Acres more or less, Cituate, Lying and being on the No. Side of Neuse River in the said County, begining at a Pine in Jesse Powell's Line, Running So. 82 Et. to a meadowey branch, thence up the Courses of the said branch to the back Line thence No. 82 Wt. along the line to the last station, and from thence with a straight Line to the first station, which said Parcel of Land Granted by Pattent unto the said William Ingrum, bearing date the 23rd Day April 1762 Containing Two hundred Acres,

to have and to hold ... in witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seal.
