Roger Snell to Robert Hutchinson.
This Indenture made this Seventeenth day of January in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Four 1754, Between Roger Snell of Duplin County in North Carolina Planter Of the One part And Robert Hutchinson of the Precinct and province aforesaid Planter of the Other Part, Witnesseth that the said Roger Snell for and in consideration of the Sum of Twenty Five Pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain, to mi in hand Paid before the ensealing thereof Well and truly paid By Robert Hutchinson the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and myself thereto Fully Satisfied And Contented and thereof and of every part and parcel thereof do Exonerate acquit & Discharge the said Robert Hutchinson his heirs Executors and Admrs. Forever By these presents Have Given bargained sold aliened Conveyed and Confirmed By these Presents do freely fully and absolutely give grant Bargain and Sell and alien convey and confirm unto the said Robert Hutchinson his heirs and assigns Forever One mesuage or Tract of land Containing By Estimation One Hundred Acres be the same more or less Within the Bounds as Follows

Beginning at the mouth of the first Branch below Henry King's Plantation And Running North to the path Called Sampsons Path and then along the said Path to a small Branch to a pine a Corner tree then along the line to the main Six Runs Swamp thence to the first Station.  

To Have and to Hold ... In Witness Whereof I Have Hereunto Set my hand and Fixed my Seal the day and Year first above Written.
