This Indenture made this Tenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty between John Clodfelter of the State of N. Carolina and County of Davidson of the one Part and Alfred Lambeth of the County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth That for and in Consideration of the sum of Seventy five Dollars to him in hand Paid by the said Alfred Lambeth the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath given granted bargained and sold unto said Lambeth his heirs & Assigns forever a Certain piece or Parcel ofland lying and being in the County aforesaid on the North side of Stoney River and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a Stone heap in William Bodinhamers line Thence No. Eighteen Chains to a Post Oak sapling on said line Thence So. 85 Degrees West Eighty Chains and seventy five links to a Sycamore Sapling William Sullivans Corner Thence 68 Degrees West seven Chains & Ninety five links to a Black Oak Sapling, Thence So. 84 Degrees West five Chains and Seventy five links to a White Oak in William Sullivans old line, Thence South five Chains to a Black oak on the bank of Stoney River and then with the Meanders up said River to the Beginning Corner in said Run the whole by estimation Thirty four Acres and a half be the same more or less

to have and to hold ... in testimony Whereof I have set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above Written.

Carolina of the one Part & Alfred Lambeth of the County and State of aforesaid for the other Part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five Dollars to him in hand Paid by the said Alfred Lambeth the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath given, granted, bargained and sold unto said Lambeth his heirs and Assigns forever Certain Piece or parcel of land lying and being in the County aforesaid on the North Side of Stoney River bounded  follows:

Beginning at a White Oak on Elias Clodfelters line running thence North by North West nineteen Rods to a Hickory Sapling on the Bank of Stony Run thence up the meanders of said stony Run fifty five rods to the beginning Corner White Oak Containing by estimation one acre and a half be the same more or less

together with all ... in testimony of which I said Clodfelter doth hereunto set my hand and affix my seal the day and year first above written.

 This Indenture made this tenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty Between John Clodfelter of the State of N. Carolina and County of Davidson of the one Part & Alfred Lambeth of the County and State of aforesaid for the other Part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty Dollars to him in hand Paid by the said Alfred Lambeth the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath given, granted, bargained and sold unto said Lambeth his heirs and Assigns forever a Certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in the County aforesaid County seventy five Acres situated on the waters of [too dark] Creek & on the South side of the Stony Run

Beginning at a [too dark] Stony Run on the South bank of the same and South Seventeen Chains to a Hickory Saplin thence South 35 East fourteen Chains to a heap of Stones thence South ten Chains thirty links to a Hickory Saplin thence East Nineteen Chains & forty links to a heap of Stone thence North thirty Chains to a heap of Stone in Stony Run thence with the meanders of said run to the beginning it being a part of a tract deeded to Jacob and John Clodfelter by their Father Rudolph Clodfelter as reference there will fully appear

to have to hold all the aforesaid land with all the improvements in any wise hereunto belonging and Mines Minerals and I said Clodfelter for myself and my heirs to warrant and forever defend the right of said land unto said Lambeth testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year first above written.
