This Indenture made this 24th day of July in the Year of our Lord 1794 between Longfield Loftin of one part of the County of Craven and State of North Carolina and Samuel Lamberth of the same County and State aforesaid. Witnesseth that I the said Longfield Loftin for and in Consideration of the Sum of Sixty five pounds Current Money of this State to me in hand paid by the said Samuel Lamberth the Receipt whereof I the said Longfield Loftin doth acknowledged himself fully Satisfied and Contented hath Bargained Sold and confirmed a Certain piece of Land situate lying in the County aforesaid on the south Side Neuse River

begining in the half Moon Swamp on the run Side in Alexander's Line and Runs with said Enock Alexanders giving line to a big wood Stump Said Alexanders begining then North 27 East 41 poles to Cornelius Loftin given Line then with said given line to the half moon Run then with the various Courses of the same to the Begining

To have and to hold ... Witnesseth whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal the day and date first above written.
